Over the weekend I had one of the best photo shoots ever. Some dear friends were my models and we went to an alley in downtown Memphis TN. We had a Harley an alley and the dark of night this was gonna be fun. The idea I had was to have a shoot where it looks like the girl beat the shit out of the guy. Easy enough. But it got better.
The beginning:
A few test shots to kick things off get the lights right.
Then it was time to get serious. Lets start the domestic violence.
That was my vision Brass Knuckles, ass whipping, and making up. This is the point in the evening when the wind decided I didn't need my flash and umbrella any more. It promptly picked it up and slammed it into the cobblestones breaking my receiver. On camera flash and a video light are now my tools. The pictures start to get interesting.
Now Christy decided to sit down for a minute while I was putting all my things away. When I saw this I took my camera in one hand and a video light in the other and got my favorite shots of the night.
So the moral of the story is I will not be without my video light ever again. And I have an order from amazon on the way, thanks wind.
